If you're from general category, then there is no chance of getting a seat in horticulture, that too in the government college. But if you're from BC/SC/ST category, then surely you have the chances of securing a seat in horticulture in the government college as you have managed to be in the minimum qualifying range. Since it's an estimation based on the performance in the exam and the last year cutoff in horticulture categorically, other than OC or general category, if you manage to be in the passing range, then you can proceed for admission and counselling procedures.

With 6002 rank it is difficult to get agriculture seat in government college based on last year cut offs.

As of the last year cut offs for St, agriculture

Non farmer quota- general-3492rank, women-4082rank.

These cut off ranks are subject to change depending on difficulty of paper and number of students who attended the counselling.

There are roughly 3500 seats in all the government universities (including Jntu's )of Andhra pradesh.Every year all the seats filled up by the students and no vacancy is kept left every year. Whereas this is not the case in private institutions, every year nearly 45,000 plus seats were left vacant.

For andhra university computer science and electronics courses your rank is too high because according to 2019 cut offs the closing rank for CSE was 979 and for electronics was 1229.
