I had registered for Gate 2020 and did the payment, but I found that my signature was not correct. So I correctly filled another form using other email and phone number and did the payment. is this considered as multiple applications? Is it fine or candidature can be rejected?

as you have said that you have registered multiple times for the gate examination.so when the officials while verifying the candidate list will verify the first application and will decline the second application.

even if you made the signature wrong you can write the exam anrd provide the

Dear Ayush, these Institutions will consider you General Category as you are fillong their applivations under General Category. Now you need to reach out to CAT helpdesk to check the feasibility of changing your Categiry from EWS to General.

Now you can do all the engineering courses which will be certified by IITs. These can be done from NPTEL site. This is run by older IITs where you can learn online, and submit assignments and give exam to earn certificate.
