My son got IIT Kharagpur ocean engineering and naval architecture, the branch was good or bad?

Bhawana Sinha Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019
Every branch is good. It also depends on your interest. Placements:The Placements of this College is  amazing. Around 80-85% of students were placed. They got placed in Merchant Navy firms and Indian Navy. The packages were offered according to the government norms. Students were hired for the lieutenant role, and they will get promoted according to the government norms. TPO cell is very efficient.

Infrastructure:The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi facility. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. You can choose this branch as per your college.

I HAVE GOT SPA BHOPAL IN FIRST ALLOTMENT FOR ARCHITECTURE.SHOULD I FREEZE IT OR ALLOW TO LEAVE IN FLOAT FOR IIT KHARAGPUR ARCHITECTURE .

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019
Hello Gautham,

School of Planning and Architecture in Bhopal is a highly prestigious and well-recognized university in it's field.

It is ranked at the 6th position in NIRF Architecture ranking.

I would recommend you to freeze ths seat because it is not easy to get into SPA, and it is a highly reputed university with a great academics record.

Let the seat float IF ONLY you are sure that you have quite high chances of getting IIT Kharagpur.

If you get IIT then that is the way to go but let me just tell you that SPA is not a low-ranked institute and is still very esteemed.

You can use the below links to get details about these colleges-

Hello sir, i got 69 percentile in jee mains paper 2 and 90537 rank and 61% in board will i get any architecture college i am from rajasthan

Akshit singhal Student Expert 7th Jun, 2019

Hard luck bro, but the criteria to get a government college through JEE is that they want minimum 75% in class 12 Boards. And your JEE score is also not good, therefore you can't get a government college through JEE. But you can apply for private colleges according to your choice and preferences.
