The R.C. Technical Institute was founded by Rao Bahadoor Ranchhodlal Chhotalal in 1910 at Saraspur, Ahmedabad. The institute has diploma courses in Mechanical, Electrical, Textile Manufacturing, Textile Processing, Printing technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, IT Engineering & Civil.
