Like any other Post Graduate program, for a PG program in Architecture, you'll have to give the following exams:
1. GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) exam
2. English proficiency exam (TOEFL or IELTS depending on the university you are applying to).

No, you dont need to write NATA to opt architecture engineering.
You can go for M.Des after your civil engineering. By thing, you would enter into designing and other stuff.
If you are from general category, I am afraid you have very little chance provided your marks and rank. But do not worry you will get a lot of other colleges to choose from.
