It would be better if you could share which particular exam you are asking for because the cut off varies accordingly and there are only 2 major exams of B.Arch and these are NATA and Jee main paper 2 so the cut off varies college, ctegory and homestate wise like for decent NITs your rank should come under 6k and if you talk about NATA then to get seat in top colleges more than 140 would be required.

Architect is one of the renowed profession in India. In order to become an architect you can appear for JEE Main paper 2 and NATA exam after your 12th class.

Below is the eligibility criteria of the exam

JEE Main Paper 2 -Students who are born on or after October 1, 1993 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2018. Relaxation of 5 years is provided to ST, SC and PwD

- You must have passed 12 th class or qualifying exam in 2016 or 2017. Appearing students can also apply.

- It is mandatory for candidates to have taken 5 subjects in 12 th or qualifying exam.

The 5 subjects for B.Arch/ B.Planning are:

1-Language, 2-Physics, 3-Mathematics (compulsory), 4-Any one of (Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject), 5-Any other subject

- To take admission in NITs/IITs/IIITs and CFTIs you should have 75% marks on your board exam or you should be in top 20 percentile. For ST/SC you must have 65% marks in your boards exam.

- You can write JEE Main 3 times only.

NATA

-You must have passed or appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam. You must get 50% in your class 12th and mathematics should be your compulsory subject.

- There is no lower age limit to take NATA 2018

The authorities of the entrance exam will release the NATA 2018 application form  in online mode, that will be tentatively available from the first week of January 2018. then you can apply for the exam.

The Eligibility to apply for NATA:

Age: Appearing in NATA 2018 you should have attained 17 years of age as on July 31, 2018.

Education Qualification:

NATA 2018 aspirants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.

It is mandatory for candidates to have secured 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
