my percentile in b.arch is 94.38 with general category. (math 35, aptitude 99, drawing 82) can i get admission in chd college of architecture in home quota. also guide how to improve math. i am not good in math questions.

Your expected rank will be around 6332.Your expected rank can be calculated with the formula
(100-yoir total percentile)*112679/100
Where 112679 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session in paper 2.
So it is calculated as (100-94.38)*11279/100= 6332

Now, in 2019 a candidate belonging to general category

I am a home state candidate for Chandigarh and want admission in CCA Chandigarh.In January exam i scored 97.4 percentile (b.arch),as obc category is not applicable here, should i try the april attempt to score 98%ile or not?

Hello aspirant..

your percentile is good enough for your category rank as this can let you get admission in any of the nits for the course of architecture. If you score a percentile of 98 plus then the chance of getting good nits increases as you also have category reservation.

NO, YOU HAVE TO SCORE MORE THAN 97 PERCENTILE.(I AM SAYING THIS BECAUSE IN LAST ATTEMPT I SCORED 96.75 PERCENTILE AND MY RANK DROPPED TO 8000 WHERE THE LAST YEAR'S CUTOFF FOR ADMISSION IN CCA CHANDIGARH WAS 6200-6500).SO PREPARE FOR THE APRIL ATTEMPT AND TRY TO SCORE MORE THAN 97

As it is known that most of the colleges have less placement record for Architecture course if a college is particularly known for the Architecture course then the chances of having good placement are high, as per the student feedback placement is average in IIT Kharagpur for architecture student

we have to give AAT after qualifying adv. so do we get architecture in IIT by qualifying jee adv. from "b.tech" ?? or there is any other way?

Hello Aspirant,

If you want to get admission in B.Arch program in any IIT then you have only one way to do it.

Firstly, you will have to appear for JEE Mains B.Tech exam and if you will clear jee mains then you will qualify for appearing for JEE Advanced.
