which is best btech naval architecture and ship building or btech naval architecture and ocean engineering? which has more exposure in ship designing?

thakurvishesh1 23rd Aug, 2022

See, between these two, the undisputed fact it that if you want to study intensively about ship designing, then Bachelor of Technology in Naval Architecture and Ship Building is the way to go. Almost 90 percent of the core syllabus of both the branches will be same, however the remaining 10 percent is where your interest lies, so if you chose the former, then you'll get more exposure to ship building and you'll learn more insights about the deeper mechanical technologies used to achieve them.

Hope I have answered your question. All the best!

my nata score is 130 and board marks are 87.17 % . can I get admission in J.J college of architecture.

dhanshree1501 13th Jul, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

I hope you are doing well.

It would be extremely tough to secure an admission if you were an outside of Maharashtra candidate without any reservations. You do have a chance of admittance based on your NATA score and 12th grade results, but it's still extremely limited, so think about other options.
