Hey Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great,

As you to join Army. If you have a physiotherapy degree and want to join the armed forces, you should take the CDS exam. If you have chosen the army, you will be given options at the end of the course at IMA.

As a physiotherapist, you are not eligible to join the AFMC graduate doctors programme. However, if you meet certain qualification requirements, you can become an Air Force pilot or an army officer through CDSE entry.

I am a ward of ex service man from general category and Rajasthan domicile. I got 520 marks in NEET 2021. Can i get an admission in Army Medical Science delhi in defence category.

Karishma Sawhney 2nd Jan, 2022

Hello Ruchika.

The previous year cut off for students having army background and do not have a Delhi domicile, was 600 marks, corresponding to rank 19980, for getting admission in Army College of Medical Sciences.

A safe score to get admission in this college would be around 590-605 marks. Hence, your chances of getting into this college is nil.

Hope it helps!

mam i have scored 512 marks in neet OBC (ncl) from UTTAR PRADESH. i have army background too any chance of govt mbbs/dental college .kindly provide list of colleges so i can apply in my neet counselling.

Divya kushwah 22nd Nov, 2021
Hello aspirant,

I hope you are doing well and good.
Sorry to say but you're chances of getting admission in government MBBS college is less. With a score of 512 , even with OBC reservation, it is difficult for a seat in ACMS or for that matter a seat in any Medical College. But you can get a seat under Management Quota in Deemed Universities or Management Quota through All India Counselling. But their fees is more than 60 lakhs. Instead you may reappear for NEET 2021 and try again. If you are planning for appearing for NEET 2021, you may as well try our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/

Goodluck!

What is the Neet UG cut off for Army College of Medical Sciences Delhi?

piyush263001 27th Dec, 2021

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

As per last year's data the closing rank for the college was 79005 for SC category candidate outside Home state. While the closing rank for SC Candidate from Home state was 82697.

Hii i want to ask that i can apply for army medical corps after my final mbbs or after completion of internship ?? And how to apply for army medical corps after mbbs like what is the procedure, online application form or offline form or interview ,,i want to know exact procedure.

Shivam Gupta 25th Dec, 2021

Dear Jagruti,

Hope you are doing great,

After completing your MBBS, you can join the Armed Forces Medical Services as a Doctor if you pass an interview conducted by a panel of Army Doctors in New Delhi. Candidates are evaluated based on their knowledge of medical subjects as well as their attitude, and they are then medically examined.

Armed forces medical services include the army, navy, and airforce, so you could receive any of the three services if you are chosen. The selection ratio in the army, navy, and airforce is usually 80:10:10 because the army is much larger than the navy or airforce.

Selection is usually done twice a year, in January and June. As a result, advertisements for selection are typically made between the months of February and August.

Another option is to get your MD/MS from an AFMS institute, which comes with a mandatory 05 years of service as an SSC officer.

I hope this will help you,

Best of Luck :)
