Army
Hi Anushka
In AFMC, there's no caste/ category based reservation. Though 10 seats are for SC/St but sc/st candidates are eligible for it only if they come under 500 rank in the combined merit list of boys and girls.
In AFMC, Pune there are a total of 150 mbbs ,seat distribution is given below
Category
Number of seats
Male
115
Female
30
Sponsored by Ministry of Home Affairs
5
Total seats
150
It's quite difficult to predict the marks required to get a seat in AFMC but yes when we go through previous year trends then last 3 years neet cut off for mbbs is given below
Gender
Neet cutoff 2020
Neet 2019 Cutoff marks
Neet 2018 Cutoff marks
Boys
618
596
551
Girls
637
610
You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/afmc-mbbs
But ,
cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc
So,
If you want to get into afmc, you need to target at least 650 marks in neet 2021 examination to be on the safer side
After qualifying neet cut off of AFMC , you will have to give some additional examination to get admission in AFMC , that is :-
--------------) Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic, and Reasoning which is called ToELR,
--------------) Psychological Assessment Test i.e. PAT,
--------------) Interview
After clearing these, finally you will have to go through your Medical Examination then finally you are selected for admission in AFMC.
Also,
To be eligible for AFMC mbbs,
********* you should pass all the subjects in your class 12th in your first attempt with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and must get at least 60% in aggregate of PCB i. e Physics, Chemistry and Biology and at least 50% marks in English and 50% marks individually in each of PCB , also should have studied and passed maths in the class 10th.

Dear Student,
To get into the Indian Army as a doctor, you must study in AFMC i.e. Armed Forces Medical College situated in Pune. Earlier, AFMC conducted their own exam but now, admission is based partly on NEET Exam.
Note that there are only 105 seats for boys and 25 seats for girls. So, you need to study hard.
Eligibility Criteria :-
1. He/she must be a Citizen of India. 2. He/she must be unmarried throughout the course. 3. He/she should be medically fit according to the criteria issued by the Ministry of Defence. 4. He/she should have completed 17 years of age but should not be more than 22 years of age (24 years if you're doing a BSc degree and are in final year/have passed). 5. Achievement of at least 60% in PCB and 50% individually in each subject along with English. Also, he/she should have passed all the subjects in their first attempt. Passing in Mathematics in 10th standard is also required.
Admission Process is stated as below :- 1. When you apply with your NEET result, you are required to take the ToELR test which is a computer-based exam testing you in English, Logic, and Reasoning. It consists of 40 questions to be done in 30 minutes. 2. The NEET Exam result and the TOELR Exam result are added and divided by 4 to get a score out of 200. 3. An interview worth 50 marks is also held. 4. A merit list is prepared according to the total marks and domicile has no role in it whatsoever.
Happy Learning!

Hello Nikita,
Taking admission under DEFENCE QUOTA in DTU should have a strong luck because there are very fewer number of seats under defence quota.
In Defence Quota some branch have 2-3 seats and some have 0 seats.
So in 85 percentile you have hard chances to get DTU under DEFENCE QUOTA.
Thank you
Dear Aspirant,
Yes, you can apply for the TES entry without giving the JEE entrance because they shortlist the candidates only with the merit bases for the SSB interview. And if your percentage is more than 87% then somewhere you are in the safe side, you might get call letter for the SSB.
And if you want to apply for the Navy 10+2 b.tech entry post then at that post they will ask you the JEE score and if you don't have then you will not counted as eligible student.
Good luck:)
There is mainly two type of scholarship which one one can avail, the first one is on the basis of your 12th percentage and second is on the basis of your JEE score.

JEE Percentile/score-
