In order to pursue PhD in particular subject, it's imperative to have Master's Degree in that concerned subject, you can do PhD in Chemistry or any other of its relevant field, say for example you san pursue PhD in biochemistry, but not in any other streams whether it's arts.commerce, management.
There are very few liberal arts universities in the country. The quality of education in these institutions is very high as compared to the west. I don't think we lack anywhere behind. One big disadvantage is in India we can't offer a four year degree at an undergraduate level. There can't be an integrated degree of four years. Hello Harsh, CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test which clearly indicates that you will be able to study law through this exam and so no knowledge of science or accounting is required.Hence, science stream and commerce stream can be ignored. After cracking CLAT,you would get admission in a 5 year integerated course of B.A. LLB. It would be better for you to take Arts subjects in your 11th standard as after CLAT also you are supposed to study Arts subjects.
