it was established in year 2001 and is affiliated to visvesvaraya technological university,Bslagavi (VTU) , it is spread in an area of 30 acres. the institute has got recognition from AICTE, government of karnataka, NBA ,NAAC, UGC. as per 2020 rankings ,it was ranked 55th in Engineering Colleges (VTU) , 71st in Management Colleges (VTU).

so it is a good college, one of the  leading engineering college in bangalore. the facilities provided are also good , like library, smart rooms and much more.

as all colleges does not has AI specialisation and offcourse AI is not a branch in engineering some colleges just offer a CS branch with speasialisation with AI
