Dear aspirant,
Yes an electronics and communication engineer can do masters in artificial intelligence /machine learning and there is no restrictions to it. The only thing you need is the correct strategy and proper interest. You need to learn good level of coding exclusively. You can do courses on Coursera .

And the closing rank for IT at CBIT is 3690 and at VNR is 4864.
With 6K Rank, you can get CSE/IT at other good colleges, following are the some of the good colleges.
1. B. Tech IT in G. Narayanamma College
2. B. Tech IT in Sreenidhi Institute, Ghatkesar

Dear student
Yes you can, however there is a catch, it is available for a few choice courses. You will get cse(with artificial intelligence and machine learning ) for BE, along with basic cse for M.tech. So if you want want cse(with artificial intelligence and machine learning ), you will have to take BE or study without it. It is important to note that the amenities are good with a good placement record.
Hope it helps
Hi Aspirant!
According to IIT BHILAI placements statistics Highest salary offered is 20 LPA while Average salary offered is 11+ LPA and this is for whole college in all branches.Due to lack of data of different branche we can not compare on that but by considering the previous year analysis and trends Data Science and Artificial students generally got 5 to 12 lakhs package while CS students always get paid above that range according to their skills.
I hope it helps.
The cutoffs will vary with factors like number of seats, number of applicants, category etc . But in general for OC and BC the cutoff is almost same ,to get selected for any top branch of engineering in this college a score of minimum 190+ is needed .B.Tech in Data Science and artificial intelligence in this college is a newly started branch , hence to more on their selection criteria please contact them directly.
