see generally admission to bachelors of arts course is based on 12th score or some of the institute takes their own entrance test. however cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category etc. you need to apply in multiple colleges to get admission in ba course and also to make maximum possibility of admission. now there is delhi university , under du there is 80+ colleges which offers different ug courses .you did not mention which stream you want to pursue in b.a, like ba in history/ geography/ english.
