I got alloted IPE branch of NIT Agartala in CSAB Round 2. Now I saw a notice on todays newspaper saying the seats which remained vacant after 1st and 2nd round outside Assam by CSAB NEUT will be alloted to the students on 17 Dec . Will I get a chance of upgradation there?

ayanmukherjee045 10th Dec, 2021

Dear aspirant,

If you were to take my opinion I would recommend you to kindly participate in the counselling in case your category  seats are vacant in the above branches because in these rounds generally very less candidates participate in this counselling.

So, you would have good chances to get a upper branch.

What should I choose between Assam Engineering College (Electronics and Telecommunication) and NIT Agartala(Production Engineering)?

Preetam Bhowmik 8th Dec, 2021

Dear Aspirant, if you compare college wise then NIT Agartala will be good as compared to Assam Engineering College. But if you compare stream wise then Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is in high demand as compared to Production Engineering and placement scope is also much better in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I hope you are clear now. If you have any other doubts feel free to ask. All The Best!!!

Should I take computer science since the industry is booming or should I take civil engineering ? **I live in Assam btw , I heard that ce has more scope here than cs but I am not sure if the information is accurate

nanditamurmu85 4th Dec, 2021
Hi Aspirant.
CSE is better than civil Engineering and this field has a huge growth in public and private sector.. Civil engineering will be easy for you if you dont prefer Maths. CE also has wode variety of opportunity in Assam. But yes scopes in job perspective is higher in CSE and is flourishing in Assam with better progress. Around 5% of the students got placed before the pandemic hit. Around 5 lakh was the highest salary package and the lowest package was 3 LPA, and the average salaryvoffered was 4 LPA in the previous years.
Hope the information is helpful

I got 3lakh crl sc category and i registered csab and in 1st round I got central Institute of technology assam . and Im participating in 2nd round can i get low college in nits plss say me this is my future

Anurag Khanna 3rd Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

On such CRL rank you have almost no chances to get any of the NITs even the lower ones. As the rank is too high so that your reservation category can also not benefit you here because on such rank NITs and IIITs, both are out of reach.

You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of CSAB as given below :-

https://admissions.nic.in/csabspl/csabsplresult/result/CurrentORCR.aspx

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

So I would recommend you to either go for private colleges or you can prepare for further attempts of JEE-Main and to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck for your future!!
