SMVDU have good overall ratings. Placement are good but highly inconsistent. Highest package and offered is 27Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 2Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 8Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, L&T, Infotech, orange, etc. They have good infrastructure and they have good teaching faculty.

GKW Haridwar have decent overall ratings but not better than SMVDU. Placements are good as well as consistent. Average placement record is 25%. Package offered is in the range 3-8Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. They have good infrastructure and helpful, well educated teaching faculties.

Assam University have decent overall ratings but not better than either of the above mentioned colleges. Placement records aren't that great. Package offered is in between the range 3-5Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are IBM, TCS, Wipro, etc. They have good infrastructure and helpful teaching faculty.

Overall SMDVU is better from all perspectives.

Placement are quite good with 29 companies recruiting this university.

I suggest you to choose Assam University because this is better than Tezpur University in academics and placements

Assam university is not have that great overall ratings. Placement are of average level and highly inconsistent to predict average placement records. Packages offered are in  range between 3-7lakhs per annum. Infrastructure is of average level and this college has better teaching faculties. Guru Gasidas have better ratings . They have poor placement records , highly inconsistent. Highest package offered is 12lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 2.5 Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 5lakhs per annum. Infrastructure is not that great but they have better teaching faculty than Assam University.

GURU Gasidas is better among the comparison between Assam University and Guru Gasidas.

Would like to have the expansion of smvu and gkw.

Assam University is a teaching-cum-affiliating Central University in Silchar, Assam, India. The university has sixteen schools which offer Humanities, Languages, Environmental Sciences, Information Sciences, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Law, Technology and Management Studies. There are forty-two departments under these sixteen schools and fifty-six undergraduate colleges with they are provides UG ,PG course but you had not mentioned the courses name which course 1 sem and 2nd sem questions papers are required .

Now, as per your query it is very difficult for you to get an NIT/IIITs with this rank, because their cutoff is somewhat around 40,000-45,000 in JoSAA 2019(CRL).

The cutoff will goes upto 50,000 only for special rounds.

For home state the cutoff goes upto 1,25,000 as per previous year trends.
