4. The UGC Pay Revision of Assistant Professor Jobs under the Band Pay of INR 37400 to INR 67,000 with Grade Pay of INR 10,000 will be INR 1.44 Lacs.

5. The Professor's place in Higher Administrative Grade (HAG) would get the section pay of INR 1.82 Lacs.

6. According to UGC Pay Commission, the Principals of the Undergraduate Colleges will be paid comparable to the compensation of Associate teacher occupations. The Special Allowance for the Principals would be INR 2000 every month.

7. The Principals of Post Graduate Colleges will be paid comparable to the compensation of Professor Jobs and the exceptional stipend would be INR 3000 every month.

8. The Vice chancellors would be paid at the pace of INR 2.10 lacs though the Special Allowance will be energizing to INR 5000 every month.

9. The addition for Assistant Professor Salary, Associate Professor Salary, Professor Salary just as for Vice-chancellor pay would go from 22% to 28%.

If you did 2 years part time MBA from the above college and now some colleges are refused to accept it then you should apply for some other colleges ,because it is not much recognised from my point of view also so apply where it is applicable otherwise do it again is the one last option .

Any college that is UGC approved or government aided or that comes under government have to implement the 7th pay scale.

The pay depends on the academic level of the position.

Assistant professorship itself has 3 levels.

Assistant professor academic level 10 has a pay scale of 57,700- 1,82,400.

Assistant professor senior scale academic level 11 has a pay scale of  68,900- 2,05,500.

Assistant professor selection grade academic level 13 has a pay scale of 79,800 - 2,11,500.

Yes, you can be an assistant professor. You are eligible for it. But, you must need to have knowledge to teach first. Some institutes even demand experience of teaching the specific subject you are going to teach in. So, you can enquire from the respected institute/University as well. So when you want to be a assistant professor then you may not need that much of computer knowledge but if the syllabus changes and data interpretation techniques using coding is introduced in the syllabus of sociology then you will need to know about the computer.
