Basically for lectureship you need to clear UGC NET the eligibility criteria is passed master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognize university with 55% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%, in or if you belong to science background, you can appear for CSIR NET for which the eligibility criteria is passed BE/BTech/BPharm/MBBS/BS-MS/Four Year BS/MSc 55% aggregate, in case of reserved categories there is relaxation of 5%, other than this there are also state level SET exams conducted for recruitment of assistant professor based on master's degree qualification which you can also apply for.
