How to admission in Audiologist and speech therapist one year year diploma course

Nitin Kumar 7th Jun, 2024

Admission processes for one-year diploma courses in Audiology and Speech Therapy (AST) can vary depending on the specific institution and location.

Most institutions require you to have completed your Class 12 (Higher Secondary Education) with a minimum percentage in Science stream subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). The minimum percentage requirement can vary, so check the specific institution's website.

Unlike some other programs, admission to AST diploma courses often doesn't require a separate entrance exam. Selection might be based solely on your Class 12 marks.

In some cases, there might be an entrance exam conducted by the institution itself, or they might accept scores from national entrance exams for allied healthcare professions (depending on the country).

Search Online: Look for "Diploma in Audiology and Speech Therapy" courses offered by colleges or institutes in your area. You can search using the location and program name.

Check College Websites: Once you find relevant colleges, visit their official websites and search for the AST program description. The website should mention the admission process, eligibility criteria, and any entrance exam details.

Contact the Admissions Office: If the information online is unclear, don't hesitate to contact the college's admissions office directly. They can provide the most up-to-date information about the program, admission requirements, and application process.

I hope it helps!
