To become automobile engineer, one needs to do btech in automobile engineering
But you are from commerce,
And being a commerce student, you are not eligible for Btech and thus can't become automobile engineer .
This is because,
To be eligible for btech, you need to complete 10+2 with Maths, Physics and any one of the following subjects:-
Chemistry
Biotechnology
Biology
Technical Vocational subject
But being a commerce student, you would not have studied Physics etc and thus not eligible.

Jee main eligibility criteria is given below which is the most widely accepted entrance for Btech -
---------------------------) Qualification required :- to be eligible for JEE mains you need 10+2/equivalent qualification from a recognised board.

With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that pursuing diploma in automobile engineering would be the best option for you as you say that you need to do Automobile Engineering after class 12th. So, if you'll have the specialization in automobile engineering courses then it would give you the extra edge to perform better at time of Your Btech automobile Engineering.
So, choose the automobile engineering diploma course after class 10th. With this, you can get the lateral entry in to the Btech Automobile engineering courses.
After diploma, you can also go with degree level courses or PG diploma programs. B. Tech degree can be obtained with specialization in Automobile Engineering or Automobile design Engineering. Admission to the course can be done through lateral entry and thereby you can save one year.

An automobile engineer in India through IIT graduate earns an average salary of INR 473,433 per year. Graduates from institution like IITs and NITs are generally offered a very good package beacuse of their excellent academics and their appreciable skills. After the work experience of years some automobile companies hire automobile engineer on a very good package of about 18 LPA - 21 LPA.

Hi there, you can switch from science to commerce but not from commerce to science. So you are not eligible for the program. LPU offers over 250 programs, you can opt for programs in commerce and management, statistics etc. Hope this helps. Good Luck
Hi There,
The only university that accepts JEE scores outside India is the National University of Singapore (NUS). The university seeks par-excellence, academic achievements, (hence the reason that it accepts JEE scores), extracurricular activities, and your SAT score.
Queen University Belfast also accepts JEE scores to admit Indian students, into several courses. However, automobile Engineering is not offered by the university.
