How is MS ramaiah university of applied science for automotive engineering? Is ms ramaiah university of applied science is autonomous or vtu

Sharmakeshav63652_9487666 Student Expert 6th Aug, 2019

Hello,

Ramaiah Institute of Technology M S R Nagar Bangalore is a good option for automotive engineering.

There is a good opportunity of getting placements for top most companies in India as well as in Bangalore also. One of best colleges where the 100% placements is possible for the students for almost every branch.

It has a good infrastructure, with good classroom, labs, library and medical facilities, etc. The college has Wi-Fi facilities to help the students for their projects and reports making easier.

The teachers are excellent, they are very friendly and help students to gain knowledge fully, whenever they ask the doubt they clear it in the spot.

MS Ramaiah University of applied sciences is a completely independent university approved by UGC. It was established in year 2013 and has a completely different education system from VTU affiliated colleges. You might got confused with MSRIT which is VTU affiliated and follows VTU cirriculum.

Hope it helps!

Which is helpful automobile engineering or automotive engineering for a boy with passion of cars?

Apurva anand 25th Jun, 2019

Hello Summaiya, If you have a passion for cars then I think you should go for automobile engineering. Because automation is a slightly different stream and it is related very much to the processes happening inside the automobile. Automobile means vehicles such as cars, bikes, trucks, etc. Automation means converting some process earlier which are been done manually into automatic with the help of various sensors, controllers, mechanism, etc.

If I do Automotive engineering can i get a job in automobile sector?

harshita_1558773432 Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Dear aspirant

Automotive engineering is a branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing and operating automobiles. This also includes working on their mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety aspects. It is a segment of vehicle engineering which deals with motorcycles, busses, etc.

Automotive Engineering is a sub-branch of vehicle engineering. It can also be considered as a sub-branch of mechanical engineering that has split from the main branch focusing on the automotive field of study. Automobile engineering focuses on the cars. It specifically deals with the designing of cars, operations in production of cars, designing of engines and fuel management. Thus, automobile engineering can be considered as a sub branch of automotive engineering. However, generally both the branches are used interchangeably to denote a branch dealing with motor vehicles

Automotive engineers can find the best jobs in automotive and automobile manufacturing industries. You can also find work in service stations, private transport companies and defense services.

Good luck!
