In Maharashtra, there is State quota for 85% reservation for home state candidates and the rest 15% of the seats are available for open counselling.

Secondly, you can't join the counselling process directly to the second round, it you have not attended from the initial counselling process or

If you are taking Admission in BDS during Round 1 of All India Counselling or State Counselling and later you got Govt BAMS Seat then you can take admission in BAMS,
