You wil have to provide your EWS certificate at the time of registering for the entrance exam. So definitely you will be needing the certificate. But as far as the next year is concerned you will have to apply for your EWS certificate again as that would be expired

see cgpa matters a lot to admission in top bschools, however your entrance scores like cat, xat, mat, cmat etc, caste category also plays a vital role, if you have good score and decent work experience and soft skills you may select in tier 1 colleges, so I suggest
