The basic difference between the two courses is that you can do specialization in BA hons but not in BA . Moreover BA hons is quite tougher than BA . In case of job oppurtunities value of BA HONS is more !!!
so if you have to choose between
I guess there will be both B. A. and B. A. hons. But the eligibility for both would remain same.

BA from Delhi University doesn't need any entrance test.You must pass in +2 or equivalent exam with 50%mininmum aggregate and wait for the cutoffs given by the college for taking admission in Delhi University.So the more you score in 12th ,the chances will be more for your admission.
