Yes, you can get admission for BA courses. One year gap is no problem at all. Depends on which university you are applying for. Some universities consider only the total percentage (eg Mumbai University) and others see the score in the particular subject you are applying for (eg Delhi University)

You Should have math in 12th to apply for BA ECONOMICS(H) IN DU. YOU DON'T NEED TO HAVE ECONOMICS IN 12TH FOR APPLYING FOR THE SAME BUT MATH IS COMPULSORY.

Getting in DU with 50% marks in 12th is quite difficult. Check once with the college website and see if you meet any eligibility criteria. You can even contact the admission department of DU for further information.
