Yes you can go for MBA after BA by taking different exams for different colleges. CAT, NMAT, XAT, IBSAT AND CMAT.
It's not compulsory to do B.A but if you want to pursue UPSC , a solid background in Humanities in required but you can build that foundation along with courses like B.Tech . So get on with the basic NCERT's and start preparing.
