It depends on your choice, if you are starting from the scratch go for a certificate course as it will build up your foundation. A certificate course trains you in a specific area and helps you obtain necessary skills without years of schooling. It is generally completed under a year.

On the other hand, diploma is achieved after completing classes and hands on experience in a specific field. It usually takes longer than the certificate course. And doing a diploma course after a certificate course helps you strengthen your foundation.

see loreto college , kolkata is affiliated under calcutta university. however this year due to corona pandemic , west bengal state board exam of 10+2 course is yet to held, generally colleges under calcutta university release the application form once the WB state board exam results for 12th course in released. however you may check the official website from time to time and watch on news channel to  get latest updates. chances that in late june or first of  july most probably notifications would release.

See BA Hons and BA both programs are great. But you should always remember that if you want to focus on a particular subject more than the other sub-ordinate subjects then Hons. course is the best.

For example you have three subjects A,B,C. Now if you are in BA program then you will read subjects A,B,C in a general perspective. But if you are in BA Hons. program in subject A then your course work will be more focused on the subject A and will provide a generalized perspective about the subjects B,C.

So if you want to go for further education in a particular subject then BA hons is great else you can go for BA program.
