University of hyderabad BA political science entrance exam syllabus

Hello,

University of Hyderabad offers five years integrated course in political science that is bachelor's degree of three years plus master's degree of two years with an exit option, that is if you pursue only bachelor's degree you will be awarded with Bachelor of Arts Degree only, now coming to your question the entrance test consists of following sections for 100 marks, each section is of 25 marks

  • Part A is Social Studies and General Awareness
  • Part B is Language and Comprehension
  • Part C is Reasoning Ability
  • Part D is Quantitative Aptitude

Yes, for getting admission in BA in Bhu you need to clear BHU UET entrance examination.

To be eligible for BA hons Arts/ social sciences in bhu, you must pass10+2 or equivalent  with at least  50% marks.

The release of BHU UET application form has been delayed due to covid-19 pandemic , we may expect its release by july . It will  be released  by Banaras Hindu University on its official website i. e bhuonline . in , so you should keep an eye on this official website to get updates regarding release of application form or you can alternately  follow our page at

Once, the application form gets released you will be able to fill it in online mode and for that you need to go through 5 steps i. e

* visit the official website i. e bhuonline . in , click on apply for admission and do the registration to generate your login credentials

* select the course you want to take admission in.

*then fill the form, you need to fill your personal details, your academic details, choice of city for examination centre etc

* and after that you need to go for uploading your documents i. e you will have to upload your scanned  coloured photograph and signature

* then pay the application fee

Hi Aspirants,

There are various opportunities after you complete BA in political science.After you complete  BA  you get opportunities in fields like civil services, law, journalism etc and everywhere else where politics is required.Job markets are average in this field but if you find a good jobs salaries are high at about 4-7 LPA.various tv channels sometimes give opportunities for their news.

As you are from Public Administration, Civil Servant can be a great opportunity for you so that you can apply your skill and knowledge in the field. So preparing for UPSC or State Civil Service can be a great option for you. Now if you don't want to go for it then you can go for LLB. Being a lawyer you can do social justice to the Administration. Apart from this obviously you can go for MA and followed by PhD to be a professor of Public Administration.

Does JNU not offer BA(hons.) Political Science course?

Hi,

Jaipur National University (JNU), Jaipur do not offers BA Hons program in Political science. It offers BA(General) via distance education. The regular BA Courses offered is BA in Journalism and Mass Communication and Different Combinations. The BA(General) program is also offered regularly but by its constituent college.

Delhi University conduct an exam popularly known as DU CATE exam.

This exam is for students who wants to take admission in Delhi University BA hons. English.

Delhi University Common Aptitude Test for English is conducted by National Testing Agency.

Eligibility for DU CATE -

i.A student must have passed class 12th with at least 60% marks in English.

ii.A student must have 60%(best of four) aggregate in class 12th.

is there any entrance exam for ba political science honour in du this year

Hi,

As of now, Delhi University has specified that the admission will be based on merit prepared on class 12 examination. There are speculations for conducting of CUCET for admission into the Delhi University courses be, it, political science hons, or any other. However, as of now, there is no such exam schedule of process announced by DU.
