156 no me bams private college list

Ayush Madanpotra 5th Jul, 2025

If you scored 156 marks in NEET and you are from the general category, then you are not eligible for BAMS admission. The minimum marks needed to qualify for BAMS is around 162 or more, which is 50th percentile for general category.

Even in private BAMS colleges, the cut-off is usually higher than 156. So with this score, you will not get admission in any private BAMS college.

There are about 156 private BAMS colleges in India, but all of them require NEET-qualified students. If you want to join BAMS, it’s better to prepare again and try to score higher next time.

SHUBHANGI SINHA 5th Jul, 2025

Hello,

Unfortunately, no. Without a National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) score, you cannot get directly admitted to a Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery program (BAMS). According to the National Commission for Indian system of medicines and the ministry of AYUSH, NEET required admission test for all under desert medical programs in India, including BAMS. A NEET score is sometimes required even for private colleges that grand admission through management or NRI quotas. So, You have to appear in NEET exams for getting admission in BAMS.

Avanishsree VP 3rd Jul, 2025

With 399 marks (OBC), AIR 2,12,382, and OBC rank 1,01,511 — chances for government BAMS colleges are very low in both the All India and UP State quota.
You may get a seat in private BAMS colleges.
For a government seat, aim 430+ in NEET 2026.

can I get admission in BAMS without neet

Sajal Trivedi 3rd Jul, 2025

Hello aspirant,

No, BAMS Admission 2025 does not always require NEET scores.

Through the management quota, individuals can be accepted to universities providing the BAMS program without having to take the NEET test. BAMS Admission 2025 without NEET is conceivable.  Accepting pupils with the results of the class 12 board exam is the primary requirement.

mujhe bams m admission k liye kya prosess apnani hogi

Ayush Madanpotra 2nd Jul, 2025

To get admission in BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), follow these simple steps:

First, you must appear for the NEET UG exam and qualify with minimum required marks.

After NEET results are out, register for counselling. There are two types of counselling: All India Quota (15%) and State Quota (85%). Choose according to your state or preference.

Fill out the counselling form online and upload documents like NEET scorecard, 10th and 12th mark sheets, ID proof, caste certificate (if any), and domicile.

Select your preferred colleges during counselling.

If you get a seat, go to the college, verify your documents, and pay the admission fees.

If you don't get a seat in the first round, you can try in second round or mop-up round.

If you tell me your NEET marks, state, and category, I can help you with expected colleges.

i get 144000. rank in emacert which college i get

Ayush Madanpotra 2nd Jul, 2025

If you got 1,44,000 rank in AP EAMCET 2025, you can still get admission in some engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. You may not get popular branches like Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence in top colleges, but you can get other branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical in some private colleges.

If you belong to categories like BC, SC, or ST, or if you have any special quota like Sports or NCC, your chances will be better for getting a good college or branch.

You should take part in the counselling process and choose many options in choice filling. You may get a better college in the final rounds.

My rank is 372810 . From sc.Can i get bams college if yes then what are the gov colleges.

Ayush Madanpotra 2nd Jul, 2025

With a NEET 2025 rank of 372810 and SC category, getting a government BAMS college is difficult, but not impossible. In some states like Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, or Bihar, government BAMS colleges may have lower cutoffs for SC students in the mop-up or last round.

You should register for AYUSH counselling in your state. Choose as many BAMS colleges as you can. Also check private BAMS colleges because they have lower cutoffs and may offer scholarships for SC students. Keep checking till the last round because some seats remain vacant and you might get a chance.
