I gave neet 2025 and score 509 and 42k rank . This is my 3rd drop . Now I have to choose any course , so which is good for me in BAMS or BVsc . Which has more carrier scopes in future and good salary .

Nikita shahi 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With 509 marks and 42k rank, you are in a decent position:

  • You can definitely get BDS in government colleges.
  • For MBBS, chances are good in semi-government/low-fee private colleges under state quota (especially if you belong to OBC/SC/ST).
  • For BAMS, BHMS, or other AYUSH courses, you can easily get a government seat.

Since this is your 3rd drop, the practical choice is to go with state counselling.

Need counselling for BAMS for haryana

SEJAL JAIN 22nd Aug, 2025

Hello

For BAMS counselling in Haryana, you need to apply through the official online portal of Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra.
Admission is based on your NEET-UG score, and you must upload important documents like domicile and category certificates.
There’s a counselling fee of 2,000 for general and 500 for reserved categories.
After choice filling, seats are allotted, followed by document verification and fee payment to confirm your seat.
Multiple counselling rounds are held, giving you several chances to secure a good college.

I got 392 marks in neet 2025 should I go for all india counselling or state counselling for bams?

Nikita shahi 22nd Aug, 2025

With 392 marks in NEET, chances for MBBS and BDS in government colleges are quite low, but for BAMS (Ayurveda), you definitely have options. Now, whether to go for All India or State counseling depends on a few things:

  • All India Quota (AIQ): Competition is tougher, and cutoffs are higher. With 392 marks, it’s a little difficult to get a government BAMS seat through AIQ.
  • State Quota: Much better chances, especially if your state has more Ayurvedic colleges. Every state has its own cutoff, and in many states, BAMS seats are available at 350–400 marks range.

i get 245 mark and i belong to3a catogaty i have HK and gramena abeyarti certificats can i get bams seat

Rahul Mandal 19th Aug, 2025

Hello,

It is very unlikely that you will get into the BAMS program with a mark of 245. Also, it will be very hard as a 3A category, which you belong to. Sorry, but you need to require a score above 400; also, in the case of a lowered category, 300-350 marks are required.

I hope it will clear your query!!

Is BAMS admission are open For Ashokrao Mane ayurvedic medical college hospital and research centre Kolhapur.??

Nikita shahi 19th Aug, 2025

Ashokrao Mane Ayurvedic Medical College in Kolhapur is a well-known private ayurvedic institution affiliated with MUHS. BAMS admissions usually open after NEET results are declared since NEET is mandatory for Ayurveda and other AYUSH courses. For the 2025 session, you will have to keep track of the Maharashtra state CET cell counseling, as all BAMS seats (government + private) are allotted through this centralized counseling system. Direct admission is not possible; the college participates in this state counseling procedure. Generally, registration begins in August, and the process includes document verification, choice filling, and allotment rounds. Since it is a private college, cutoffs are relatively lower compared to government Ayurvedic colleges, which makes it accessible if your NEET score is average. To confirm whether their portal has opened applications, keep visiting the official college website or contact the admission office.

Thank you!

Does thee bams cut off decrease?? And how much do you decrease can please tell??

Nikita shahi 18th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, BAMS cut-offs can go down or up from year to year; they’re not fixed. Cut-offs are driven by several changing factors: the difficulty of the entrance exam (NEET score distribution), the number of applicants, total seats available in government and private Ayurvedic colleges, category-wise reservation rules, and whether newer colleges open or close seats. Typical year-to-year swings are modest — in many states you’ll see movement of a few marks up or down (say 5–25 marks) — but in unusual years (sharp change in exam difficulty or sudden seat increase), the change can be larger. Government college seats are more competitive and their cut-offs stay relatively higher and stable; private college cut-offs are usually lower and more variable. What matters more than trying to predict an exact decrease is being strategic: check last 3–5 years’ closing marks for your state and for each college you want, keep an eye on category-specific closing marks (SC/ST/OBC/EWS), and be prepared to participate in all counselling rounds (initial, mop-up, stray) because seat movement often happens later.

Iam oc girl from tirupati .I got 720000 air ,26000 rank in ap merit list in 2025 and I get seat in bams in sv ayurvedic college in tirupati

Nikita shahi 19th Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

With a state merit rank of 26,000, it will be bit tough to secure a BAMS seat in SV Ayurvedic College, Tirupati, because this college is among the top government Ayurvedic institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The cutoffs for BAMS in top government colleges usually stay lower (better ranks) compared to private ones, as demand is high. However, you should still attend counseling rounds because sometimes seats in certain categories, like OC or general, fluctuate based on the number of applicants, reservations, and seat matrix. Apart from SV Ayurvedic, you can also look into other government and private Ayurvedic colleges in AP, as your rank might give you a chance there.

Thank you and all the best!

Iam oc girl from tirupati .I got 720000 air ,26000 rank in ap merit list in 2025 and I get seat in bams in sv ayurvedic college in tirupati

Chelsie G 17th Aug, 2025

With a 26,000 state merit rank in AP and being from the OC category, it is quite difficult to get a BAMS seat in SV Ayurvedic College, Tirupati, as the cutoff for this college is usually much higher. You may get chances in other private colleges, but for SV Ayurvedic, the rank is not enough.
