Yes,  NEET is compulsory to qualify for taking admission in BAMS even if you have completed D Pharmacy.

As till 2017 BAMS admission in Karnataka were carried out through the Common Entrance Test (CET)  conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority ( KEA) . But from year 2018 onwards BAMS admission will be conducted through NEET.

2018 being the first year for admission into BAMS courses through NEET had cutoffs in the range of 475-560 and above for BAMS courses in government colleges. In 2019 the cutoffs went really high as the number of candidates had increased and also the paper level was called easy comparatively.

Dear Mustaq, we do not have 2019 cut offs yet. However in 2018, the cut offs for various Categories have been as follows:

SC: 302

ST: 233

VJ: 242

NT1: 208

NT2: 254
