sir,i secured 130 marks in bhu uet maths exam and my rank is 354obc female,i want to know is there any chance of getting admission in bhu University.

Atrayee Gayen 28th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

Congratulations for scoring so well in BHU UET!

BHU is one of the well renowned Colleges that set up its cut offs really high. But your category score and rank which you have acquired are enough to get you an admission in BHU for Maths hons.

Last year's OBC cut off rank for maths hons. was 707 and cut off score was 165.

Although cut offs may vary slightly year to year but your chances of admission are quite high.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Is there any possibility to admission in BHU UET 2020 exam in maths group when my rank is 1009 in sc category in main campus of BHU. explain briefly

Atrayee Gayen 26th Oct, 2020

Hey aspirant,

It is difficult for you to get admission in Banaras Hindu University for B.Sc maths hons., based on the SC rank you have got.

Last year's cut off by rank for B.Sc Hons. Maths for SC category was 1-521 ( opening rank-closing rank). Although  cut offs vary year to year based on - 1) number of students appearing for entrance exam, 2) number of applicants , 3) difficulty of the exam, 4) last year's cut off trends , etc. , but your chances seem to be less.

Hope this helps,

All the best!

Sir I got 103 marks in bhu uet (b.sc maths) 2020 and I am in general category. Am I able for admission?

Atrayee Gayen 25th Oct, 2020

Hi Sadab,

It is not possible for you to participate in BHU UET counselling, as because the BHU UET cut off for B.Sc maths group for General Category is 190.

This cut off is the minimum marks that a candidate must secure to be eligible for sitting in BHU UET counselling.

i got 114 rank in bhu uet bsc maths and closing rank is 110 will there is any chances getting main campus I m sc.???

prince2019ad 24th Oct, 2020

Hope you are doing good in this pandemic situation. Let me get straight to the point that you have chances but the chances are very low. You mentioned the closing rank and you are very close to it. Usually students choose to study BSc math at BHU when they couldn't get a medical seat or engineering seat, but it's very probable that some person may leave a seat if he get a medical or engineering seat therefore you have chances.

You don't need to worry please be patient. You have chances of getting your preferred branch.

For BHU UET, did i have to go through the syllabus of both class 11th and 12th? or only 12th is enough?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 21st Oct, 2020

Hi

No, only class 12th syllabus is not enough for BHU entrance exam.

This is because,

In your BHU entrance exam, questions are there from both class 11 and class 12th dear and thus you need to study and prepare both class 11th and 12th syllabus for BHU entrance exam.

Also,

you can make routine or timetable to prepare in a better way and, your routine should revolve around things i.e study, revise and practice

And after u  finish each chapter you should practice questions

Solve previous year BHU Entrance EXAM  questions :-it will let you know the examination pattern, type and difficulty level of questions etc
