As far as the admission in the BHU is concerned, you can be pretty much assured of getting through with the 91 rank in general category in BHU PET, although it also depends on the course you have applied in. So, as far as main campus is concerned, yes you do have great chance of getting the main campus, wait for the university to release cut off that may happen anytime soon. BHU has huge hostel capacity if you have got 42 rank in hostel index allotment there are good chances of getting hostel as there are other courses whose counselling is yet to announce. You may also search for previous year hostel allotment list, it will help a lot.

A lot of students face this kind of confusion while JOSAA counseling.

You have a number of options available to you. Before selecting the college you must realise which branch you prefer the most. Also what are the future options for you in the respective branch.

Engineering Science is a relatively new branch and gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of selecting a branch incase you are not sure about any branch.

Keeping that aside as far as colleges go there are a lot of factors that come into existence:

An older college will give you a better Alumni Network,which is also needed .

Incase you want to go for higher studies you must select a City that gives you adequate opportunities for coachings.

With general rank of 1972 and 572 rank in female category, i'm afraid you won't be able to get Admission in the main campus for the MCA program in BHU. Generally, the cut off rank is way lower for the main campus. Although, you can hope for the cut off rank to increase drastically to get admission in main campus.
