Hello Abhinav
Bit is among the top college under vtu. it possess quality education, placement is decent as well. but due to lack of campus it does not give thrill of college life. If you enjoy study you can go there.
It’s a good college in Bangalore . Placements are decent
Hi Abhinav
If you are talking about the same branch in both the colleges I would recommend you to join NIT Raipur.
I believe Since NIT Raipur is a national level government college it would provide you more opportunities.
More over it will have students from all across the country which will give you more chances to learn from different class mates .
Hope this helps

Hello Ritik, No, you cant get admission in Bangalore institute of technology on the basis of JEE marks. BIT takes admission only through COMEDK, KCET, and management quota/NRI quota. there's no reservation for JEE candidates. You need to give at least any of COMEDK or KCET to secure admission or you can get a seat through management quota which would be a little expensive.
Hi ankur, i am very impress with your decision that you are looking for good education rather than placements.
Above all colleges Sir M visvesvaraya institute of technology (SMVIT) is a good college for better education because it is huge campus and different buildings for different branches.
Specially for computer science students SMVIT is much better than any other colleges like BIT Bangalore and MMM Gorakhpur. The hostels of SMVIT is in very good situation and in awesome location.
The placement record of SMVIT is very good compare to other colleges and also the way of teaching by faculty members is awesome.
So I can say only one word "join the SMVIT fast".

Hii,It all depends on what ur priorities are.I am providing u with an overall comparison on major aspects.
Infrastructure - Srm Chennai will be a better option for sure as a 7storey building is all what you will get in Bit.
Location - Bit is situated in the heart of the city (near kr market)and its accessible easily from any corner of Bangalore(metro connectivity being an added advantage now). p.s I don't have much knowledge about Srm as in where it is located.
Placements- Bit is very good in placement aspects and as u r asking with respect to computer science branch,u don't need to worry much about placements .All u have to do is to maintain 70% aggregate to be eligible to sit in all the companies.Companies like Amazon, cisco, akamai, jpmorgan, musigma,Nokia,Samsung,Oracle visit bit Though mostly for testing roles, they offer u a handsome package.
Personality development - Though there are quite a lot of clubs like rotaract in bit,I personally feel that u don't get that much exposure in bit. There are no playgrounds in the campus for any sports activities .So Srm would be better in this aspect.
However,I would recommend bit personally as it is quite good overall. The pleasant weather of Bangalore also serves as an added advantage.
Hope, this information helpful for you.Goodluck for your future.
