There is no point in dwelling on past, it's already gone, you may have your share of mistakes, but learn from it, and move past it, the longer you spend time in what went wrong, your energy will be directed in wasteful thinking, everybody has their  highs and lows in life, so just treat it as another phase which shall pass, you're only 23, and still young, so much time left to chase your dreams, hence start afresh, if needed then take the help of mentors if you feel you lack in terms of preparation, and also if you're preparing for a competitive exam then you need to have the dedication, persistent efforts, and focus, if you couldn't qualify the exams then you can look forward to other options.

If you want to go for banking sector then i would recommend you to not to go for engineering background because in four years of engineering it won't be of any use .

But if you still want to pursue it then i would recommend you to go with the data science branch because in future in the banking sector the most important thing is the data the banks carry with them.

Not necessary. They can make questions on their own by changing value or by taking questions from another book. Chances are there for the case of only references another wise you can use previous question paper for your exams. I guess you are talking about Central Board of secondary education only.
