Hi I get 7.46 CGPA in bcom hon. I want to do mcom with banking and insurance can I get admission in Ms university Baroda???

Hello Aarti,
According to the admission criteria given by the university a candidate passed B.Com. /B.B.A. /B.B.S. or any other equivalent degree as full time regular student with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in F. Y. B. Com., S Y B. Com and T Y B. Com Examinations are eligible.

Dear Kushi, any student who has completed 10+2 in Commerce subjects preferably with a minimum aggregate of 50% is eligible for B.Com in Banking and Insurance. While Science students are also eligible, commerce students are preferable. So with Accounts, Economics and Business studies, you are eligible for pursuing B.Com in Banking and Insurance.

Dear Kushi, any student who has completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50% is eliguble for pursuing B.Com in Banking and Insurance. Science studenys are also given admission but Commerce students are preferred. Having said that, it is not mandatory to have Mathematics as a subject in your 10+2 to study B.Com in Banking and Insurance.

The no. of intake in Master of Commerce course with specialization in Banking and Insurance offered by The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a total of 200 seats.

Hi aspirant,
Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda offers various UG and PG courses. It is one of the oldest centres of imparting education. It is spread over 275 acres of land and comprises of 14 faculties. (Arts, commerce, journalism, fine arts, law, management, science, social work, pharmacy, technology psychology family communication)
It also offers Masters in commerce with specialization in Banking and insurance, which is Infact its regular program. Its a 2 year program.
So you can apply to this course. It is a specialization provided in Mcom. If you have an interest in the field of banking and insurance and want to pursue career in this field this is a right course for you.
This program comes under the faculty of commerce. The online registration fees for which is Rs 400. The total fees for this course is Rs 22.68k and the total seats are 200.
The placement cell of the university is good. It gives students opportunity to apply in various banking and financial institutions.
Companies like LIC, BANK OF BARODA, etc visit campus. Even summer internship is provided at the end of the 1st year to enable students to get industry exposure. Every year around 70 percent students get placed. Some also get placed in the same company in whci they did internship.
If you are interested you can apply by going online and paying a fees of RS 400 as I said earlier. The admission is based only on the basics of marks obtained in under graduation. Hence there are no entrance exam for this exam.
