Regarding this matter, the education department has made it clear that candidates who have selected either Basic Mathematics or Standard Mathematics will both be considered eligible for admission to diploma courses, as long as they fulfill the remaining eligibility criteria.

Your question isn't correct as 6802 -3 is not equal to 14562. There certainly is a typing mistake.
You have asked similar question before too. As per the question you posted earlier which contained decimal point after 3 instead of the equal to sign
6802 - 3.14562 = 6798.85438
Technically you should be allow to chose this course as Maths (Advanced) is only for those who want to pursue PCM in class 11th and go into the technical fields. You can always request to your principal that according to CBSE, you cannot be stopped from taking Arts with Maths
