Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, also known as B.ASLP is a four years undergraduate paramedical programme. The course is recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology as a main subject from a recognized education board.
Candidates who are awaiting their results can also apply for admission in the B.ASLP programme.
Candidates belonging to the general category must have at least an aggregate of 50% marks, while reserved category candidates must have scored at least 45% marks.
Foreign national candidates will be eligible for only seats allocated to foreign national categories, depending upon the individual institutes.
B.ASLP Admission:
The admission process of B.ASLP may vary depending upon the institutes and universities. The admissions in B.ASLP are mostly done with the help of an entrance test. Candidates who qualify the entrance test are allocated a seat based on their performance in the entrance test. These entrance tests are conducted in both national and institutional level. Some of these institutes are Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing and All Yavar Jung Institute of Hearing Handicapped .
However, some institutes offer admission on the basis of the last qualifying examination marks. Candidates are offered a seat based on the last qualifying examination of the students. One of such institutes is Manipal Academy of Higher Education .

BASLP Admissions are done on the basis of merit or an entrance exam. Students can give either a state level entrance exam or a national entrance exam to take admission to this course.The eligibility criteria for admission to baslp is that c andidate should have passed class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. (An additional 5% relaxation is given to students from backward classes.)
If you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for baslp.

Admission to Bachelor of Audiology Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) in Ali Yavar Jung Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities ( Divyangan ), Mumbai is through an All India Entrance Exam of AYJNISHD.
The eligibility criteria for Mumbai Center is 10+2 (HSC) passed with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the following : Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology. 50% aggregate for General/OBC and 45% for SC/ST/PwDs.
The entrance examination for this academic year has been conducted on 21 August.

You can take admission to B.ASLP only if you have passed any degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other recognized university with at least 50% marks.
Selection in BASLP course would be done on the basis of candidate's performance in All India Entrance test.
So Yes, you have to give entrance exam.
