Divyanshi Lal 29th Nov, 2020

Dear student,

I hope you are safe and doing well.

BASLP is Bachelor's in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. It's a paramedical course which comes under the Rehabilitation Council of India.

It is not at all compulsory to pursue masters after completing your UG from BASLP. But doing a Master's Degree or any other higher study will help open up more better lob projects. Like Master in Public Health nowadays is a very good course for various health related professionals. MPH after BASLP will be a good decision as you may relate to your course and will be easy for you to cope. Public Health sector has a broad scope.

But it's totally up to you to pursue PG degree or not.

I hope you find it useful.

bsc nursing vs baslp course best cariar option

kritiesse 4th Nov, 2020

hello,

Both the courses are amazing options in a professional career and yes it does depend On your interest because you could go for the course you have more interest in.

BASLP stands for Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology. This professional course is also known by the name of Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Therapy. It is a 4 years long undergraduate level professional course.

BSc Nursing is a four year course which is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. This course focuses on reinstating health and providing care to the sick.

As you can see both are 4 year courses. If we come to salaries, the starting Salaries of each are also almost the same from 3-4 LPA. These salaries vary according to your position but sometimes salaries in nursing are lower.

So it also depends on which institute you choose and their placement opportunities.

hope this helped. good luck!!
