Planning to take BBA LLB as my degree & prepare for UPSC alongside. But I was told to take BTech as it had more job opportunities & "better backup" & gave me more time for UPSC prep. But Im not that interested in Btech but Id go if I had to. Which has more hectic schedules BBA LLB/BTech(both pvt)

Sakshi Singh 30th Jul, 2022

Hello,

Both the courses BA LLB and B. Tech. are top most courses and are best option for UPSC. Although B. Tech. will have more hectic schedule as it involves practical classes also, on the other hand BA LLB is more of theory. BA LLB will give specializations in the field of law and governance so candidates can expect some sort of overlapping in UPSC syllabus, but B. Tech. subjects are altogether different. B. Tech tends to build a rationale and logical thinking among candidates.

In past few years the number of engineers qualifying the exam has increased.

For better understanding and reports you can see UPSC's annual report where you can know the number of candidates qualifying exam with a particular subject.

Hope it helps.

uniform for bba llb in sharda?

Bhavvya 1st Aug, 2022

The integrated BA LLB programme offers a comprehensive package to its students to equip them with expert knowledge of the Indian Legal System along with a unique perspective on the business environment. The programme is specially crafted for students who can formulate sound arguments and possess problem-solving skills.

There is no such dress code for students in Sharda University . They are free to wear whatever they feel like wearing but must be descent and not obligatory to the college environment

Hope this information helps .

As a UPSC aspirant should I take Btech CS or BBA LLB as my UG Degree? What may be the pros & cons of these degrees and which might give me an edge in prep as subject and time for prep is concerned? And which might be a safer backup even if i didnt crack UPSC or any such related exams

Arhana Chakraborty 30th Jul, 2022

If you wish to go for UPSC, then whatever the degree you do doesn't matter. Your selection is entirely based on the preparation of UPSC CSE. You may choose any of the course as per your interest. My opinion will be that if you wish to go for the UPSC, and its your only goal, then don't go for the Integrated course. BBA LLB course is a good course, for those who want to make law a career. But you want to do UPSC CSE, and for that the law/rules/regulation will be provided you in the training schools. So being a LLB will not give you wings, compared to others who haven't done LLB. Its a 5 year course and I don't think it would be at all good for you to waste 5 years of your life in a course, which you won't get a career in. Instead, do a 3 years graduation and if required invest 2 years for attempts/better preparation.

If you wish to go for any of the two courses, my suggestion will be for you to go for the BTech CSE course. If you aren't confused, about what you want to do, then go for any of the courses and just keep on preparing for the UPSC CSE.

Is NMMIS a good place to study law (BBA Llb) ( Mumbai or banglore campus) ? And how are the placement after 5 year Law

Bhavvya 28th Jul, 2022

NMIMS bangalore is an old institute compare to NMIMS bangalore. so the placement cell is more established and it is thus well connected with industries. Comparison on the basis of placements is as follows  -

  1. NMIMS Banglore - students received an average salary of INR 11.80 LPA which is 9.8% higher as compared to last year. The highest & median salary increased by 22.4% & 12.1% respectively. The highest salary offered was INR 19.58 LPA & the median salary stood at INR 10.65 LPA.
  2. NMIMS Mumbai - As the University claims ,the highest salary package offered was 16 lacs per annum and the lowest salary package offered was 6 lacs per Annum. The average being roughly 11 lakhs here as well .

As we can conclude from the above statements , both of them are equally good in their packages and placements , despite of that fact according to me you should always focus on the main branch i.e Navi Mumbai , as it was established first and we cannot ignore the fact that main campuses are always given a reputation advantage over other branches of the same institute .

Hello student,
Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Legislative Law or BBA LLB is a 5 years long professional integrated degree course offered by SLS or symbiosis Law school Noida, approved by bar council of India. This institution is a very professional and good institute with best quality faculties on this field. Yes the total course fees is 8.5lakhs. according to the student the placement is also very good here. Also according to the students most of the students get replacement offer by their final year or in fourth year. Average salary packages of 7 to 8 lakh. Click on the link below to know what about this college

On the other hand Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Legislative Law or bcom LLB is also 5 years long integrated taking course provided by MIT Law school Noida. The course we here is quite high approx 24 lakh. The faculty that here also good too. For both colleges the attendance is compulsory of 75%. Many private law forms come here to the clothes school but the placement rate is quite low as of the students saying it is near about 65%. To know more about this college

Now see both degrees are different, but in symbiosis Law College you are getting the course at the low price also you can get the good placement package also you have the CS. So I think symbosis Law college will be  best for you.

my waitlist number in the 1st merit list of symbiosis noida BBA LLB programme is 85, what are my chances?

Bhavvya 25th Aug, 2022

Greetings aspirant

It is to inform that your chances of getting in are quite high. Last year the students with this cutoff in the waitlisting were able to get into Symbiosis very easily. Stay calm and composed and hope for the best. While I want to clarify that this prediction can never be 100% sure and totally depends on the number of candidates who are not interested in taking up the college even after the selection. Therefore I will recommend you to look for other back up options as well. You can find the same using the link given below https://law.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-law-colleges-in-india

All the best

Bhavvya 24th Aug, 2022

Greetings aspirant.

I feel very delighted to inform you that your chances of getting in the college are quite high. Though the information provided is not totally accurate as it is based on the previous year's result. It can vary every year and depends on the magnitude of selected candidates who are not willing to take admission into this college because of some better prospects. Still I would suggest you to keep looking for other colleges as well.
