Nagpur has number of colleges that offers BCA course. BCA stands for Bachelor's degree in Computer Application. It provides the scope of Information Technology, with subjects such as C++, Java, Networking, computer basics, multimedia system, data structure etc . It provides similar opportunities to B.Tech in Information Technology.

The eligibility criteria is to have at-least 50% in class 10th and class 12th aggregate along with English as a compulsory subject. Please note that certain colleges have minimum age limit of 21 years.The fees can vary from 35000 to 5 Lakh INR.

Entrance test that can be given by the candidate are IPU-CET, BUMAT, SET etc.

The job profiles that are offered are System administrator, Software developer, Tech support etc.
