With an AP EAMCET 2026 rank of 8000 in the BCA female category , you have a strong chance of securing a seat in government B.Sc. Agriculture (AGBSc) colleges in Andhra Pradesh. Based on previous years' data, candidates with ranks in the range of 8000 to 120,000+ have been admitted to Tier 2 government colleges.

Potential Government Colleges for AGBSc

While specific cutoffs for BCA females in AGBSc are not publicly detailed, your rank places you in a favorable position for admission. You may consider applying to the following government colleges under Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) :

  • College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad

  • College of Agriculture, Bapatla

  • College of Agriculture, Naira

  • College of Agriculture, Anakapalle

  • College of Agriculture, Warangal

These institutions have historically admitted students within your rank range.

Steps to Secure Admission

  1. Participate in Counselling: Ensure you register for the AP EAMCET counselling process through the official portal: https://eapcet-sche.aptonline.in .

  2. Document Verification: Complete the document verification process as per the schedule.

  3. Choice Filling: During the choice filling phase, prioritize the government AGBSc colleges mentioned above.

  4. Seat Allotment: Monitor the seat allotment results and follow the instructions provided for seat acceptance and reporting.

Important Notes

  • Category Consideration: Your BCA category status may influence the seat allotment process. Ensure you have the necessary documentation to support your category claim.

  • Rank Variability: Cutoffs can vary each year based on factors like the number of applicants and seat availability. It's advisable to apply to multiple colleges to increase your chances.

Prachi Kumari 27th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Yes, you can do BCA even if you didn’t take IT as a subject in your state board. Most colleges only require you to have studied Maths or Computer Science at 10+2 level. IT as a subject is not mandatory.

Hope it helps !

I am a state board student so i dont have any optional subject like it at all so if i want to do bca course can i do

Aryan 27th Aug, 2025

Hi dear candidate,

The BCA course is provided by many private institutions and few semi government colleges and each may have their own admission criteria. The most basic criteria is, at least 50% aggregate marks in class XII from any stream.

In some cases, the colleges also require mathematics or a subject with computer related components like I.P or C.S.

However, majority of the colleges follow the basic criteria with sometimes followed by an interview.

So, you should get admission even without any additional subject.

I just wanted to ask about hostle fees including mess or bca course fees

SEJAL JAIN 23rd Aug, 2025

Hello

It is best to check directly with the college or university you're applying to, as the fees can vary quite a bit depending on the institution and location. Generally, hostel fees (with mess) can range from 40,000 to 1,00,000 per year, while BCA course fees might be anywhere from 30,000 to 1,50,000 per year in most private or government colleges. It’s a good idea to look at the official website or contact the admissions office for the most accurate and updated information.
