Yes you have to mention your admission in SOL in the gap year certificate because that is what it is for and it explains what you were doing in that year,bridges the gap for further education and will also help you in future in getting a job

To make a decision you need to know what you want from your college. First of all compare the placements of both colleges, if placements are similar then see which college is in a better area and which one has a better infrastructure. If even that doesn't help

Dear Aspirant, You can pursue yor BCA degree without maths as a subject.But in place of that  you will need to have computer science/statistics and computer applications.There will be Mathematics in BCA in atleast 4 out of 6 semesters.
