B.C.A.
Hello,
To get accurate details, please ask your question with the name and location of the college where you want admission.
Thank you !
In Andhra Pradesh, there are around 1,550 MBBS seats under Category A (Government Quota) in private medical colleges. These seats are filled by the state counselling authority based on NEET rank.
Hope it helps !
Hi Yasaswini!
Pharm D through AP EAPCET. Your rank of 20781 and being from the BCA category does give you a chance, though it depends on seat availability and the college you’re targeting.
Some private colleges under EAPCET counselling do offer Pharm D with seats reserved for BC-A students. You might get a free/convener quota seat.
And keep checking for official notifications and be ready with all required documents.
Wishing you all the best for your admission!

With an EWS rank of 36 , you have a very strong chance of getting a seat in the main campus of BCA. You rank is quite good, and unless the number of seats is very limited or the competition is unusually high this year, you should be in a safe zone.
That said, cutoffs can be very depending on factors like the total number of applicants, seat availability, and category-wise distribution. Its always a good idea to keep an eye on the official cutoffs and have a few backup options just in case.
You will be considered a 2025 pass-out because you cleared your back paper in 2025. Even though you completed your classes in 2024, your degree is only complete after clearing all subjects.
So, for job applications and documents, you will be counted in the 2025 batch .
For your question's answer, you need to place in the top 262 to get a seat in the BCA program for the LU main campus through the EWS category. It's still the previous year's cutoffs, and it can change depending on this year's competition, but still, you need to place yourself in this range to get admission.
I hope it clears your query!!
Hey Reeta,
Thanks for reaching out!
you've already taken admission in Msc.CS but now you want to shift for MCA. If you've filled the PSR(Provisional Seat Report),your seat is officially locked, and course change is usually not allowed However,In some cases,If the college or university allows internal changes by submitting a formal request to the admission office or University registrar .It depends on their rules and timings. So, approach them as soon as possible.
Early action is important .
