For getting into 5 top nit with any branch, for a safe side you need to get 150+ but to get a preferred branch 200–250 would get you a good branch moving above with your marks.

When it comes to a choice between these two, B.tech is prefered since it gives a good job surity with higher package in comparison to BCA. Also, there are possibilities that you may have to go for MCA after compeleting the BCA, for having any job.
