Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great. Merit-based and entrance exam-based criteria are both used to determine admission to the BCA programme. IPU CET, AIMA UGAT, BUMAT, SET, GSAT, SUAT, and CUET are a few of the well-known BCA entrance exams. Candidates must receive at least 50% of the possible points in their class 12  from an accredited institution or an equivalent to be admitted to the BCA programme.

The prerequisites for the BCA course are very straightforward. The minimum requirements for admission to the BCA programme are as follows: Candidates applying for the programme must have earned an overall grade point average of 50 percent in class 10+2 from a recognised board.

  • Mathematics and English should be required subjects for them.
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years old to apply for a BCA. Additionally, some colleges have an upper age limit for admission.

Admission in offline colleges or universities of BCA and MCA courses without maths and computer plz help me to find ?

Tanya Gupta 6th Aug, 2022

Hello,

BCA is a three year undergraduate programme in the field of computer science and information technology.  It is one of the most popular career options for the students who want to make their career in areas related to computer science.

Candidates who wish to take admission in Bachelor of Computer Applications programme must have completed 10+2 in any stream from any recognized board. The BCA eligibility varies depending upon various colleges and universities.

There are many colleges that will offer you admission into BCA without maths and computer as a subject. Very few colleges have computer or maths as an eligibility. You should check the eligibility for the college you wish to take admission into.

However, you cannot get admission into MCA if you didnot study Maths either in class 12th or in BCA.

I hope this helps,

Hope you are doing good.
So as per your query, generally to be eligible for DUET exam. One need to score 40% of the Mark's in their Bachelors degree. However, as you had completed your BCA, you might be wanting to so the Masters course, that is, MCA.
So, in order to be eligible for the course of MCA, one need to score maximum of 60% aggregate Mark's. Thne you will be eligible for the exam.
