No I am sorry to tell you that once you choose the degree of BDS, it is impossible to get upgraded to MBBS degree. It is not like changing a branch in Engineering. If you choose the dental career, you will not be able to become a doctor.

At this rank there is no chance of getting MBBS government college but for BDS you are having some chances so you can wait for it till last round of counselling.

Now in case of private colleges BDS is easily available for you and it's fees

Hello Deepthi, Yes, you can leave your course mid-way if you have been allotted a better college in next year. Some of the colleges might ask about the fee for further years but don't give any money to anyone, you can leave your seat anytime without paying money as stated
