Which career option has future scope - BDS or BAMS?

Abhijit Kundu 9th Jun, 2019

If you compare the two career options, in my opinion BDS has a far better scope.

If you choose BAMS, there is very very few countries except India who recognize Ayurveda as a science course and hence there would be no way you could practice outside of India.

What about cut off and fees?? Which is better among bds and BAMS? ?

yadvi Student Expert 9th Jun, 2019

Dear candidate,

Since you didn't mention your category I'm assuming it to be general.

For BAMS you need to score 420+ and for BDS 450+  to secure the seat in good Government colleges.

If you are interested in Ayurvedic medicine you should choose BAMS and if you interested in dentistry
