There is no such lateral entry process in NSIT, New Delhi.
But, DTU does offers lateral entry course in their institute. canndidates can go through the website page to know more about the details of the process.

In the BTech you have to submit the assignment after every unit completed while your seasonal file is for the 1 semester that you are studying after the semester and you have to submit all the units assignment in one single file that is your seasonal assignment for 1

Hi Sahil, when you say Building design engineer, then I am assuming you are referring to Structural Engineering. Technically speaking, to become a structural design engineer, the companies would expect that you have at least post graduate level qualification in structural Engineering. It could be either a Masters level qualification
Actually correspondence B.Tech is not recognised as per the new rules and guidelines. This is as per the Supreme Court judgement passed in 2017. As far as I see some professional institutes may be allowed but these are also not recognized as per the court's ruling. check the eligibility here

Yes, calcutta university do offers b.tech civil engineering course for 4 years. For this eligibility required is that students need to qualify 10+2 with 50% marks. And 90% admission are based on marks obtained in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations. And rest 10% on basis of marks obatined
