You will have to justify the cause of your gap with a valid reason to the institute you join to study and during the placements interview as well.You wont have any problem in case you are opting for medical or commercial fields since there is no age limit in theses

Yes you can get admission in aerospace engineering in mtech after completing b. Tech in mechanical engineering. But if you want good college like IITs for doing m.tech then you need to qualify gate examination with good score and you need to apply in gate with aerospace engineering
